Camped at Borrowdale YHA and ate in the evening at the Riverside Bar (Scafell Hotel) at Rosthwaite
Route: Ennerdale Water shore path, Ennerdale forest track, Black Sail South Hostel (with honesty box tea and cakes; very welcome), then sharp climb up Loft Beck then across to Honister Mines (another chance for a brew), before a long descent into Borrowdale and the Youth Hostel near Rosthwaite. A beautiful, sunny day on the fells.
